Finding the Retainer is a necessary step to defeat Lyle in Code Vein II. You must clear this task in the Limestone Cave before you can finish his story. This guide shows you the path to reach that area.

Reaching the Crystal Grotto

Start your journey at the Forward Two Base. Look for the Elevator and take it down to the bottom floor. Step out and turn right immediately. You will see a path leading into a cave nearby. Enter this opening to arrive at the Crystal Grotto in CODE VEIN II.

Entering the Limestone Cave

Walk through the Crystal Grotto by following the main road. Keep moving forward into the deeper parts of the cave system.

This trail eventually brings you into the Limestone Cave. Once you are inside, look for an enemy named the Ravenous Predator. You must beat the Ravenous Predator to complete your mission for Lyle in CODE VEIN II.
