Here’s a guide on how to use Partners in CODE VEIN II.

In CODE VEIN II., your Partner plays a huge role in how you handle fights. You will almost always have a friend by your side, and their presence is tracked by two different bars.
The yellow bar is their standard health, but the blue bar is their LP. This blue bar represents the bond you share. As long as you have LP remaining, you get special bonuses and traits from that Partner. If the LP bar breaks and they only have health left, you lose those extra buffs.

Managing Partner Support and Revivals
Every Partner offers different buffs, and you can see what they do at a Mistle by opening the change partner screen. You can swap them out whenever you like, unless the story requires a specific person to be with you in CODE VEIN II.
One of the best things a Partner does is bring you back to life if you fall in battle. When this happens, look at the meter in the bottom left corner.
It will show a timer for when your Partner can come back. If you can stay alive until they return, they can revive you again, creating a loop that keeps you in the fight.

Choosing Between Summoning and Assimilation
How you use your Partner changes how hard the game feels. If you choose Summoning, your friend stands next to you and fights on their own.
They will attack enemies, support you with spells, and take hits, so the monsters aren't always looking at you. This makes things much easier to manage in CODE VEIN II.
On the other hand, you can choose Assimilation. This pulls the Partner inside you to boost your own stats and power. While you get much stronger, every enemy in the room will focus only on you.
If you feel like the game is too easy and want a bigger challenge, switching to Assimilation is the best way to test your skills.
