Hello everyone at NoobFeed.com. Yes, this isn't a glitch, this is really the latest community blog in where I share with the community  what it's happening on the site. Please read it all because in the end I have a request.

New Board

 

NoobFeed has a new forum: The Features board. It's mainly for some features created by the NF staff, but it's for eveyone to use and most of all to enjoy. It can be used to ask questions to a certain individual, to rewind the time machine and see if your favorite game got picked for game of the year and for checking the most anticipated games for this year. On a side note, everyone is free to make a thread. Share your favorite games with the rest of the community!

-With the start of the new year, NF got another upgrade with some more features. A new text editor, preview button, and a variety of new inprovements necessary for the growing of the site. We've created a few help threads to help you understand and know how to use them. With new features there are the always unwanted bugs, please report any bugs that you've encountered and the devs will be glady to help.

Moderation tips

 

We apriciate all the reports that we receive but there are a few things that I would like to clarify. Nothing serious, just a heads up for future reports. 

-There is a small difference between double post and...double post. Some of them are reportable and they are moderated, while others there's no need for report them. Double post falls under the disruptive posting category: The user who make the infraction only indends to boost their post count and nothing adds to the discussion. Example. An user said something in the OT board about a nice T.V. show but that same user forgot to mention the name. Next, he/she will make another post with the name of the T.V. show. TIP: Use the edit button.These kind of posts may be reported and they will be moderated. However, when someone is updating a thread with some useful info and then no one posts after the update. Well, the user responsable for the thread, posts another update. Double post again. However, now this double post is totally right. Why? Because it adds something to the content and it's ok to make these kind of posts.

 

 

-Instead of reporting about threads that needs to be updated/locked and/or threads that reached 1000 posts, why not PM a mod and gently ask him about the thread?

 

 

Volunteers needed

 

 

-Now that NoobFeed.com is bigger, the forums needs some more activity. Specially the Videogame boards( PC,X360, PS3,Wii). I would like to ask if anyone is interested in posting a few threads in those boards.

 

 

-User Stats. Hated by a few, loved by many...or vice-versa. Visited Stats, poll votes, Friends, blogs, etc. PM me if you would like to start doing these updates
