There are a lot of essential Points of Interest that you should visit during your expedition to get good loot in Elden Ring Nightreign.

Spiritstream Jump and Spectral Hawk

When you notice a blue upward glow on the map in Elden Ring Nightreign, this is a Spiritstream Jump. It can be used to go into it and jump up in the air like a trampoline, where you can maneuver in mid-air. These allow you to go up high or far away rapidly.

The glowing tree symbol calls out a hawk that flies you along a given route indicated on the map. Along the way, you can step off or leave at any time to travel to a set destination.

Churches and Mage's Towers

Churches are essential places for survival in Elden Ring Nightreign. Each church has a fountain statue of Marika and an altar where you can speak to gain an extra flask charge. You begin with three flasks automatically, but going to each of the three churches on the maps to which you have access can bring this up to six.

Great churches contain a boss fight (either on the top level or in hidden catacombs) and tend to drop elements of weapons that correspond to the component highlighted on the map. Check always what's at the back of the altar or go to the top for secret chests, which can carry Stone Sword Keys.

When you have the stone sword keys, you can use them in the Evergaols. These disc-shaped platforms hold a statue where you can place a Stone Sword Key to trigger a random boss fight. You are rewarded with 10,000 runes or something random after defeating them.

Mage towers in Elden Ring Nightreign have sealed doors that must be opened by destroying a hidden seal, usually on nearby walls or windows. Once the seal is broken and you are inside, parkour to the top to loot the magical items.

Runes, Forts, Mines and Main Camps

Rune locations have the same layout as great churches but with varying bosses. When defeated, they drop weapons like the elements shown on the map. Others have secret staircases leading to treasure rooms containing loot.

Forts in Elden Ring Nightreign contain strong enemies (typically ranged enemies), a merchant, and a smithing station to upgrade weapons. The merchant will sell regular smithing stones to upgrade regular armaments. When the boss is defeated, use the map in the fort to unlock secret beetle spots (for talismans) and treasure chests.

Mines are the locations that connect different points on the map and have tough bosses that tend to drop smithing stones. Visit mines on Day 2 to upgrade weapons to epic quality.

Main Camps are like settlements, filled with enemies, a boss, and a random merchant or smith station. Once you have cleared the camp, you will have the opportunity to upgrade your weapons.

Central Castle

The castle is an essential point of interest in Elden Ring Nightreign, but it has several challenges.

Sewer Entrance is accessed from below, leading to a boss behind a golden door.

The armory is unlocked after the sewer boss is defeated. Enter the castle, where there is a chest with rare talismans (you can equip up to two at a time).

You can access higher levels using the Spiritstream Jumps below the river.

Field Bosses

These bosses only appear on the map after Day 2 in Elden Ring Nightreign. Defeat them to earn high-level rewards and massive rune rewards.

The final thing you must pay attention to is the Tree icon, which appears at the end of each day. This indicates that you need to reach the outlined circle before Night Reign catches up with you. If you notice this, you should run.
