Frostpunk 2 Guide | How To Survive The Whiteouts
There's alot of nuance to surviving a whiteout. Here's all the ways to help you to that end.

Any fans of Frostpunk or Frostpunk 2 will be no stranger to the whiteouts. Disastrous weather events where you will have to deal with low temperatures for weeks on end. Darkness and the cold envelop your city as food production is downright halted, and all other things are made horribly inefficient with low outputs.
Of course, Food is not the only thing you will have to worry about. This guide will look at all the ways you can survive a Whiteout.
Stockpiling
You should stockpile an excess number of resources, everything from Food to goods and materials. All of the resources that are used should be stockpiled. You can use emergency shifts to boost production before a whiteout and build stockpile hubs that increase your storage capacity.
Turn off redundant buildings.
You should shut down the buildings you can through your districts as these buildings are now consuming way too much heat. If it gets to the point, you should also turn off production districts, as the output they provide during a whiteout is insufficient.
Overdrive
You can turn on your generator's overdrive function. This will significantly boost heat production without requiring new fuel resources. But be warned: If the generator stops working due to an accident, it would be catastrophic.
Laws & Heating Hubs
Heating Hubs just might be your saving grace. You should deploy these hubs everywhere you can. Additionally, if you haven't already, you should pass any heat-reducing law you can.
