Technology by Koshai on May 07, 2011
Before I start writing let me apologize for not being here for like 15-20 days. I just finished my finals and currently I am in a remix contest (need to submit three remixes of the same song) and setting up our new businesses. Since I am practically free, so here is the thing. Like last year during the fall, this time I am going for a super blogging free every alternate day. So you all have to bear with me with my long blogs. So I ill start with this month’s gaming gadget digest.
1. Cool Leaf buttonless keyboard
Source: blogcdn.com
This is a contribution given from our beloved Nooby Dramus. The keyboard is button less and touch- sensitive and has a backlight. I just hope it will solve the the problem of having finger pain after long hours of typing. It will be available in Japanese retailers for around 20000 yen ($245). There is no news for US release however. The Windows version is ready to launch and soon enough the Mac version will also be ready to launch. Is this the future of input device? Your call!
2. Calibur 360 Case

If you are into major pimping of your 360 (yes it’s only for those 360 users) then you should consider this. Coming out on May 10 in your favorite BestBuy.com, Amazon.com or Wamart.com, this case promotes better cooling performance, better stability and chassis support and endless customization options with designs and other features. To make things even better, it has got docking cradle to place your controller or your headset plus vault bodies for better protection. It also got apparels to suit your taste. Price will depend on how you customize your case. Oh yes if you order by May 10 you will get a free personalized nameplate for free.

This keyboard features Black Cherry MX mechanical key switches that will allow greater feel when you press any keys. With 18K gold plated switch connectors, it ensures durability and reliability. It also feature single light green backlit with three lighting modes,: on, off and WASD. It also got six keys rollover for simultaneously register upto 6 keystrokes. To make things better it has got two USB ports and audio ports. I am not sure about the price but I think it’s going to be around 100-150 USD.
4. Sega Mega Drive console
Source: Firebox.com
Seems like retro still looking to find a way to get all the retro consoles back. It’s Firebox attempt now. In fact it is pretty nice looking. It is very small for a home console. To make things better it has got 10 pre-loaded games: Alien Storm, Altered Beast, Columns, ESWAT, Fatal Labrynth, Golden Axe, Shadow Dancer, Street of Rage, Street of Rage 3 and Sonic Spinball. To make things further awesome the price of this little thing is USD $58 and is available online at Firebox.com.
5. Sony’s BRAVIA VPL-HW10 projector
Source: Google
I don’t know whether it is a wise idea considering the fact the price of this product is around $3000, but still I would like to mention that it’s not like any other projector. This projector has got same technology that Sony Bravia TV offers. It boasts 1080p resolution, 30000:1 contrast ratio, 1000 ANSI lumens and all digital video signal processing. It also got HDMI support. It is also ultra-quiet. If you really need a projector with HD quality then I guess this is for you considering the fact money is not a big factor.
6. Wii Car Lighter adapter
Source: Wired
If you don’t get enough on gaming and want to play games even when you want to go to school or when you go for a trip (not advisable for a better trip experience), then no worries. You can still take your beloved Wii with you and play in your car. Just hook up to your portable TV player in your car. Power is the issue so here is the solution you got. Game on!!! Just don’t use too much movement. You can get this from around 5.99 to 15.99 USD.
7. Blackberry Playbook
Source: digitaltrends.com
If you are looking for a tablet (a gaming one) and also not fond of both Apple and Android then BlackBerry Playbook wont disappoint you at all.It has got 1024 x 600 WSVGA support, astonishing 1 Ghz Dual core processor with 1 GB RAM (a very good spec for a tablet) with accelerometer and 6 axis motion sensing support. To make things better, I heard from a site that it ran Quake multiplayer quite flawlessly. Price is reasonable too: $499.
8. The Avatar Pinball machine
Source: Hammacher Schlemmer
This gaming gadget feature is nothing if I don’t put at least one ridiculous gadget. This is yet again a rich boy gadget from our favorite Hammacher Schlemmer. This is the Avatar themed Pinball machine. I don’t have to explain further more. I will just say the price: $5000.
9. World of Minecraft T-Shirt
Source: Think-Geek
Also this feature is not complete if I don’t include a T shirt (my T shirt obsession is still going on). So this time since there is Minecraft craze going on I am presenting this nice looking T-Shirt. This is available in all size (both male and female). It costs around $19.99-$21.99.
10. Darth Vader USB Hub
Source: Think-Geek
So I end this feature with cute little head. It has got four USB ports. If you are a Star Wars fan, this is a nice collectible for you. It is on sale right now at Think-Geek for just $39.99.
So I a m done. I will come back next month for more gaming gadgets. No no no!! I will not going away. I will come back day after tomorrow with another blog. Till then have a good weekend.
