German Visitors Day 2-4

Guten Tag! I'm going to continue chronicling mine and Lara's American experience...
So on Friday, it was the German's first day of school. Lara followed me to most of my classes, with the exception of a few periods of touring the school and whatnot, and I think she had a lot of fun. We bought lunch, had fun in class, and went to tennis after school.
Friday she only watched tennis, but she thought it was funny to see me play. We also went to the German welcome dinner that night and hung out with her friends at a bonfire. The party had a lot of people and it was crazy-fun!
On Saturday we went to the largest mall in Illinois and she freaked out because of it's enormous size and Aeropostal. That is her favorite store and she bought a nice zipper jacket. In Germany they only have H&M... but she enjoyed looking at Holister, Ambercrombie, and American Eagle also.
It was especially hilarious when we went to this underwear store that is a part of Holister and this one guy and girl stand outside of the store in their bathing suits to attract customers.... I told her to ask the guy if they can take a picture on her digital... but they had polaroid camera and gave us photos for free!!
After that we went to some other store across from the hot guy and one of the employees was like, "What do you have? OMG! It's the bathing suit guy!" and all of a sudden all of these women that work in the store were laughing because we got photos and we explained Lara was an exchange student... We couldn't get out of the store for like half an hour because they wouldn't stop chatting. lol!!
Then we went to see the musical at my high school and the Germans were absolutely amazed. Our school is well known for showing the best performances in the area because we put so much money and time into it compared to most schools by me.
Today... we woke up really early and took a 3 1/2 hour drive to Springfield and showed her the capital, Lincoln's home, the Lincoln burial sight, and the Lincoln Museum and Library. I think she was bored... but there was A LOT of really cool stuff there anyway. We also met up with my cousin, aunt, and uncle for dinner because they drove my cousin back to college in town and it was nice.

So yeah.... that's our day. Also, Lara is not a gamer, but she thinks FFXIII is funny. We played on Saturday and was like, "They all have funny names... EspeciallyVANILLA!!"
I can't believe she remembers all of their names. We only played for like two hours and she knows the people and the story a little. Right now I'm at the part where Fang and Lightning are like RIGHT NEXT TO Hope's home. I'm about to enter it, but we had to stop.
If anybody has appropriate questions or something... go ahead and ask.
