To build a Hatchery in Grounded 2, you need certain ingredients and must progress through the main story.
This structure is an integral part of your foundation, and when you complete the game's main objectives, you'll get its blueprint.
To build something, you need to get four different kinds of resources from other places on the map in Grounded 2.

Accessing the Blueprint
Press B on your keyboard to open the build menu. You can switch between parts by using the Q and E buttons on your keyboard.
One of these tabs, the one highlighted with the green outline, shows the Hatchery blueprint.
To get this blueprint, you have to move through the main story. It becomes available relatively early on in your playing as part of the standard story progression.
Required Materials
To build the Hatchery, you need six Weed Stems, one Acorn top, five Acorn shells, and five Mite Fuzz in Grounded 2.
Gathering resources from different regions of the game world requires a lot of work, as each substance must be acquired in a unique way and at a specific location.
Collecting Mite Fuzz
Mite Fuzz arises from tiny monsters that strike players a lot during the game. These species are common in most places, so you'll probably run into them when exploring.

You have to kill these monsters and loot their bodies to get the Mite Fuzz in Grounded 2.
Collecting Acorn Materials
Head southwest from the Ranger Station toward the large tree visible on your map.
This area contains numerous Acorns scattered across the ground around the tree's base.
You must possess the Omnihammer upgrade for your Omni Tool to break open these Acorns effectively in Grounded 2.
When you break Acorns, you get Acorn Bits, Acorn Shells, and sometimes Acorn Tops from the pieces.
You can get the Omnihammer upgrade by first collecting Grass Seeds if you don't already have it. To get these seeds, use your cutting tool to cut down the grass flowers.

Bring the grass seeds to the ranger station and buy the Omnihammer upgrade. Once you have the right tools, go back to the tree area and crack open the Acorns by hitting them with the Omnihammer.
Getting Weed Stems
Weed stems come primarily from Dandelions, which you can harvest using a level one Axe.
These yellow flowers appear throughout the game world and require chopping to obtain their Stems in Grounded 2.
Each Dandelion takes several strikes to fall completely. Alternative sources include red-colored plants, but these require a level two axe to harvest effectively.
Search the area around your base and nearby locations for Dandelions. The chopping process takes time, so plan accordingly when gathering the six required Weed Stems.
You may need to transport these materials back to your construction site multiple times due to inventory limitations.

Construction Process
Once you have collected all required materials, approach the Hatchery blueprint you have placed.
Press E on your keyboard to begin construction. The building process consumes all gathered materials automatically in Grounded 2.
