Here's a guide on how to get Clean Water in Grounded 2.

Water management is one of the fundamental survival mechanics you'll need to master in Grounded 2.
This guide covers the essential methods for collecting and storing clean water to keep your character hydrated without risking poison effects from contaminated sources in Grounded 2.
Finding and Collecting Dew Drops
Dew Drops appear naturally on Grass blades throughout the environment. When you spot one of these water sources, you'll need to use your Axe to harvest it properly.
The Axe becomes available early in the game by following the main story progression.

To collect a Dew Drop, locate the Grass where it sits and trace it down to its base. Strike the Grass twice with your Axe to cause the Dew Drop to fall to the ground.
Once it falls, approach the Dew Drop and press E to drink it directly.
This method provides immediate hydration without any risk of poisoning in Grounded 2.
Alternative Water Sources
Juice Drops are another way to get water while you're out exploring. These drops work like Dew Drops, fixing your water meter when you drink them.
You can gather them and drink them the same way you did before.
Materials for Crafting
Making a Canteen lets you keep water for later instead of drinking it right away. You need two specific items for this storage option: Grub Hide and Crude Rope.
Crude Rope crafts from basic materials that you can gather throughout the environment. The crafting process uses standard resource collection methods.
Grub Hide requires a long collection process. First, look upward to locate Grass that has seeds on top.
Strike one of these elevated Grass sections to knock down a Grass Seed. Take this Grass Seed to the research station inside the nearby facility in Grounded 2.

At the terminal, access the Omni Tool upgrade menu and unlock the Shovel. You'll need to research and craft the Level One Shovel to collect Grub Hide.
Once you have the Shovel attachment, search the area for small mounds in the ground. Use your Shovel to dig up these locations, which will reveal Grubs.
Kill the Grub and harvest its remains to obtain Grub Hide in Grounded 2.
Constructing the Canteen
Navigate to the resources section of your crafting menu and create Crude Rope using Plant Fiber that you can find throughout the environment.
If you haven't previously, use Grass Planks to make a Workbench. To get Grass Planks, you'll have to cut Grass.
Open your Workbench and look for the Canteen in the crafting menu. To make the Canteen, use your Grub Hide and Crude Rope.
After you make it, access your inventory and press F to equip the Canteen in Grounded 2.
Using the Canteen
With your Canteen equipped, approach any Dew Drop and press E to scoop the water into your container instead of drinking it immediately.
The Canteen will appear in your hotbar, allowing you to access it quickly during gameplay.
Press the corresponding number key to equip or unequip your Canteen. When equipped, left-click to drink the stored water whenever you need hydration.

Advanced Water Collection
Later in your progression, you can craft a Dew Collector that automates water gathering. This advanced structure simplifies the water collection process but requires progression through more of the game's content to unlock and build in Grounded 2.
