The Crustnut and the Courier's Rasher are the final key items needed for the Great Taste of Pharloom quest.

Acquiring them requires venturing into the Sands of Karak, unlocking the Needle Strike ability, and completing a timed delivery challenge.

This guide provides a step-by-step explanation of the entire process.

Crustnut (Part 1: Path to Sands of Karak & Needle Strike Ability)

Start from the Blasted Steps Bellway Station. Head east, then drop down and move west, following the signs with a needle icon.

Along the way, you will face the Great Conchflies boss. Defeat this relatively easy opponent to proceed further.

Afterward, continue west to reach the Pinstress' Hut, which serves as the first checkpoint. Here, speak with The Pinstress to unlock the Needle Strike ability, a powerful charged attack.

Crustnut (Part 2: Sands of Karak Map & Shortcut)

To get to the center of the Sands of Karak, leave the hut and climb along the rings to the west. In this area, temporary platforms made from yellow seeds are added, which are necessary for growth.

There are platforms that you can stand on and platforms that you can use as Pogo points.

Continue eastward, practicing the jump–clawline–double jump–dash combo, which is crucial for surviving platforming challenges.

Along the way, you can pick up a Memory Locket at one of the branching routes.

Seek out Shakra to purchase the Sands of Karak map, then open a shortcut by breaking a large red spike above, creating a path back to the Blasted Steps Bellway Station. Rest here before proceeding.

Crustnut (Part 3: Sands of Karak from Shortcut)

Return to the Sands area and climb the tall vertical shaft past Shakra's location. Break spike growths on the west wall to uncover the route leading to the Crustnut.

This section requires Ascendant's Grip and either the Reaper or Wanderer Crest to efficiently clear spike clusters with downward attacks.

Using the cling-and-leap technique, the spiked growths are carefully and precisely removed. Since destroyed clusters do not respawn, persistence will eventually open the way forward.

Continue west through the final platforming challenges until reaching the chamber containing the Crustnut.

Courier's Rasher (Route Setup & Requirements)

The Courier's Rasher must be delivered from the courier brothers in Bellhart to Loyal Mergwin in the Citadel. This delivery comes with strict conditions:

The Rasher spoils after about 5 minutes. Taking damage, falling from a great height, or sprinting into walls reduces its lifespan. Fast travel cannot be used.

Before attempting the delivery, ensure you have unlocked the essential shortcuts near Loyal Mergwin. These routes significantly reduce travel time and improve your chances of success.

Courier's Rasher Delivery Route

Get the Courier's Rasher from Bellhart and quickly head east into Greymoor, being careful to avoid enemies and other things in your way. Take a break at the seats to gather more tools, then continue up to Halfway Home.

From there, use the lift shortcut to reach Sinner's Road. Navigate the vertical chamber toward the Exhaust Organ, using traversal skills to skip most platforming challenges. Move west into the Grand Bellway, rest briefly, then head toward the banquet hall area.

Use the pre-opened shortcuts near Loyal Mergwin to make the final sprint. Speak with him while still holding the Rasher to successfully deliver it, completing the challenge and finalizing the Great Taste of Pharloom quest.
