Marijauna Kills..... Friendships

So as some of you may or may not know, today is 420. Now some of you may not know what 420 is. Well it is basiclly the day of Bob Marley's death or something of that nature. No matter what it is, today is the day that evryone goes and smokes pot.

 

Within my cirlcleof friends I was the only person who has ever tried pot. Now, let me clarify, I was forced into it last year. I have never done it since, and don't plan to. I am the only one who realy knows how pointless pot is out of my friends. I DO IN KNOW WAY CONDONE POT OR ILLEGAL DRUG USE. Drugs are bad, and their illegal for a reason. Yes pot may not be as bad as cigarettes, but thats not the point. That is an issue for another day.

 

Heres the setup. Today I was with my friends and we were just eating lunch at Pizza Pizza. One of the school's resident stoners came up and asked us if we needed pot. I said no, were good. Then one of my friends said that he needed some. I thought he was joking but stayed out of it. Turns out he wasn't.My friends had a whole plan of getting high after school. Now they didn't tell me about this earlier. I asked what they were thinking. They said. " we are going to get high, what do you think we're doing" I asked why, there response" its the cool thing to do, besides it just pot". I asked why they didn't tell me about there plan. They said I was to much of a panzy to do it.

 

Ok, so I am the only one to have ever tried it, yet I am to pussy to do it now?. Confusing. I would have said no anyway.  So school ends and they have a plan to go smoke and then go to one kids house to another.

 

This brings me to here. I am the only responsible one of my friends, I know the dangers of drugs, my friends are the last people who would ever smoke, they won't even come to parties with me because they think that they will get hooked on alcohol or drugs. Now I do not condone drinking either. But I will be honest. I have no issue with it. While I know its probably worse then pot, I don't see that big of an issue with it, probab;y something to do with my Irish heritage. And no, I dont get drunk every weekend, actually its been 4 months since my last drink. Back on topic.

 

I am alone on 420 because my friends are to ignorant to realize the dangers of drugs. :(
