MIO: Memories in Orbit Guide | How to Increase Health

Getting a strong start in MIO: Memories in Orbit means finding Coating Components and powerful modifiers early. If you collect four coatings, you gain an extra health segment.

Following this path will help you build up your health and power quickly so you can survive the first few bosses in MIO: Memories in Orbit.

Collecting the First Coating and Badge

Start at the Nexus and head past Shii to the elevator. Go up to Level 1 at the Spine. Turn right and cross the big bridge.

At the end, drop down. Before grabbing the coating, double jump across the hanging chandeliers on the left. At the far end, pick up the Silo Access Badge. Now, drop down to the area below the bridge to find your first Coating Component.

Getting the Protective Overlay and Hairpin

Go back to the Spine elevator and head left this time. Drop off the ledge and keep moving right until you can drop down again. Turn left to find a container. Defeat the group of enemies that spawns to unlock it and grab the Protective Overlay modifier.

Next, head back toward the right and go all the way to the bottom of the area. You will have to fight the boss, Egis. Use three-hit combos and jump to avoid his attacks in MIO: Memories in Orbit.

Once he is dead, go right and drop down as far as you can. Turn left to find a pipe. Interact with it to meet Samsk and unlock the Hairpin ability.

Finding the Old Core and More Coatings

Return to the Nexus and use your Silo Access Badge to open the door on the right. Follow the path down and to the right into the undergrowth. When you see platforms, climb up and head right. You will find an Old Core sitting on a ledge to the left.

From there, head left and use your new Hairpin to grapple across the gaps. Inside a small area here, you will find your second Coating Component. After grabbing it, go back to the right.

Look for a grapple point high up on the right side. Use your Hairpin to reach the top right ledge to find the third Coating Component in MIO: Memories in Orbit.

Finishing the Set at the Shop

Go back to the Nexus now that you have three parts and an Old Core. Visit Mel's store close to the lift. To get the last Coating Component, you can give him your Old Core and Nacre.

With all four pieces, your health will increase. This setup, along with the Protective Overlay, gives you a lot of health very early in MIO: Memories in Orbit.
