MIO: Memories in Orbit Guide | How to Unlock The Shop

Here’s a guide on how to unlock the Shop in MIO: Memories in Orbit.

Opening the shop is one of the most important things you can do early in MIO: Memories in Orbit. To do this, you need to find a character named Mel. Having his shop available makes the game much easier because he sells items and upgrades that are hard to find anywhere else.

Heading to the Spine

Start at the Nexus. Go up and walk past Shii. Keep moving to the left until you find the lift. Take the lift up to Level 1, which is the Spine in MIO: Memories in Orbit.

Once you are there, head to the left and follow the path until you reach a ledge. Jump off and keep moving to the right. You can fight the enemies here for Nacre or just run past them if you are in a hurry.

Finding the Hidden Path

Continue until you see a way to go down. Follow the path to the end and slide through the gaps. You will eventually reach an underpass.

Turn left and keep moving up and around the platforms. There are many enemies in this area, but you can bypass them to save time in MIO: Memories in Orbit.

Meeting Mel

Follow the path until you reach the top. You will see a door that you can open easily. Go inside, and you will find Mel working in the background.

Walk up to him and talk to him until his dialogue is finished. After you talk to him, he will move to your home base.

Using the Shop

Now you can find Mel at the Nexus on Level 0. He will be standing at his shop, and you can buy modifiers and upgrades from him. You can even unlock more items to buy as you keep playing in MIO: Memories in Orbit.
