The game has a lot of strong gear available to you early on through hunting Calamity Elder Dragons. You do not need to win the battle in order to obtain their materials.
It is a wonderful method of increasing your strength. This is a possibility after having unlocked Habitat Restoration and proceeded with the story. And to locate them, get a victory or two at night. Quick Finishes can be used to get this faster.
After some time there will be an event of a Calamity Elder Dragon. The weather will be different and a monster will appear in the middle of the storm.

The Serpent of Azuria: Namielle
Namielle will be in the first area, Azuria. There are players that beat her on level 10 in the demo, though you do not have to. The monster leaves a material on the floor when you do fight and can fight to the second round at least, even when you lose.
As her equipment costs a mere three material points you can create a weapon or an armor piece by initiating the conflict thrice. This is among the best equipment that is available this early in Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection.
Namielle Armor is very defensive with an ability known as All-Out XL. This causes a lot more damage to your skills, but they consume more energy. To assist, the armor possesses Stamina Boost L and Stamina Surge L in order to have a boost of energy initially and restore it at a faster rate.

In the case of weapons, there is Namielle Long Sword, Counter Boost L. This reduces the harm you receive in Retaliation Stance and increases your counters. Namielle Hunting Horn is also great since the melody prevents your skills to consume any Stamina.
This allows free use of the high-damage skills. It also possesses such songs as Rousing Riff and Soothing Song to assist your team.
The Namielle Bow has such coatings as Paralysis and Power. It is capable of increasing the level of charge upon changing them. And there is also a Namielle Gunlance that will reload on Head-to-Heads and a Gunlance that heals you, when you guard.

The Twin Storms: Ibushi and Narwa
As you come to the Canalta Timberland you will see Wind Serpent Ibushi and Thunder Serpent Narwa fighting. As before, you may get a material by lasting till the second turn out of them.
To make a weapon, three materials are sufficient. These products are based on the Dragon element. This is a very uncommon element at this stage of Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection.
A good substitute of the Garangolm Great Sword is its version, the Azuria Elder Great Sword. Another good selection is the Ibushi and Narwa Long Sword that possesses greater attacks and a Dragon element.
The Hammer of this two is equipped with a skill known as Sweet Spot to fill your Wyvern Soul Gauge. It also has Backlash Blitz. It is itself a fighting back, which shields you against the powers of the monsters.
The Hunting Horn in this region increases the Dragon attack and the buffs of you last longer. In case you prefer bows, Thunder Bow applies Flash, Sleep and Paralysis Coatings.
It also provides an opportunity to have additional charge levels upon accumulation of energy. Remember just that these two dragons do not have an armor set for you to make.
