New Games & Upcoming NF Projects
Other by Canana on Jul 12, 2010
Last week I went to my local game store with some money to buy a few games. It was a surprise because there were a lot of options, because, like I used to say, I live "In the middle of nowhere" and sometimes the games aren't the ones that I am expecting to see there. I bought Ratched & Clank: A Crack in Time and...Demon Souls. While the first one is extremely fun, the other is extremely frustrating due to its difficulty and slow learning process.
I haven't played a platform game since the Crash Bandicoot games and I am happy with it. I spent a few hours playing and I am amazed with the beautiful graphics and the whole platform genre. There isn't too much to talk about it because I need to play a few more to give a detailed opinion about the game. First impressions are great and I am currently playing in Hard, and it isn't that hard in my opinion. The boss fights are easy if you know what to do and it they can be beaten in a few tries.
Demon Souls can be very frustrating because the game offers a lot for you to explore: Spells, armour, weapons and a variety of other things. I am still trying to figure it out, but I know the game is hard and it can make me give up. Still, I like these games, hard and completely frustrating to get familiar with the controls and gameplay features. In other words, I like a great challenge and I think this time I won the lottery...
Moving on, I plan on doing some projects NF related. While the first is still in the working stage, but it can be implemented in this site as a regular feature (CGN). It needs total dedication from me, but I know I can do it, not alone, but with the help from everyone I think we can reach this objective.
I also plan on give a good amount of articles and a video review. A preview about the new Lara Croft, LitleBigPlantet 2 and Trine 2 are in the works, while some editorials can be arranged as well. About the video review, it's going to be about a game that most of you aren't familiar with and I had a great time playing it. Now that I am still on vacations, I have plenty of time to dedicate my time to NoobFeed. Since Day One I have a mission, and I won't rest until the site reaches the goal. I never left the site and I won't leave, but currently I am not in the mood for some forums talk, I prefer to keep myself quiet and only contribute with a thread or two to keep the discussion.
See you around and have a good week!
