PlayStation Move Impressions + Dragon Quest Hat + TGS!

PlayStation Move Impressions:

Okay, so I just posted some impressions of the Move games over on my website.  That's TV Superstars, Start the Party, The Shoot, Sports Champions, Kung Fu Rider, Beat Sketcher, echochrome ii, Racquet Sports and tumble.  You can check that out here.

 

Overall I'm impressed with Move.  Some of the games (TV Superstars, Kung Fu Rider and Racquet Sports) you need to stay far away from but overall I really enjoyed a lot of the games.  Some of you on my friends list I'm sure saw me playing all of these all through the night last night and part of today. (And if you're not on my friends list ADD ME --->  Nerd_Boy777 <---  Games that really stand out for me are Start the Party, The Shoot, Sports Champions, echochrome ii and tumble.  I'll have a full review of the controller itself up in the next few days but so far I'm pleasantly surprised.  The controller feels really great and so far the games out are a lot of fun.  Looking at what games will be supporting it excites me as well.  Hopefully the more 'hardcore' games have good implementation as that'd be great to see.

Tokyo Game Show:

As we all know this past week was the Tokyo Game Show.  I just want to point out a few things that prove that this years TGS was one of the best in recent memory. :D

 

Project Dark was announced by From Software.  This is the Demon's Souls team.  The trailer screams Demon's Souls.  They said this game is for people who like Demon's Souls.  We all know how much I love Demon's Souls.  How many times do you think i can say Demon's Souls. DEMON'S SOULS SUCCESSOR IN 2011!!!!

 

Final Fantasy Versus XIII footage was leaked.  It's basically everything I want it to be as far as gameplay goes.  Have any of you seen it?  It looks WONDERFUL! :) 

 

ICO + SotC HD Collection was announced.  With Shadow of the Collossus being one of my favorite games of all time you can imagine the excitement level I'm at right now. :D

 

The Last Guardian trailer was shown plus Holiday 2011 release.  Amazing. Amazing. Amazing. Holiday 2011 release date?  Too far away :'( 

 

So basically TGS had everything I wanted and more.  If Project Dark would have been called Demon's Souls 2 I think I may have died from excitement...just saying.

 

Also there's that new Asura's Wrath game that got announced.  I think you should check out the trailer for that it looks kind of crazy.
