A simple guide to getting Iron Ingots fast in Rocky Ridges.

If you want to make Iron Ingots in Pokémon Pokopia, you need to go to Rocky Ridges. The process starts near the Pokémon Center. After passing it, go up the ledge and move toward the next section. This route matters because the smelting area is deeper inside the zone.
You also need to unlock the stronger Cut ability through Chef Dente. Once that is done, come down into the section shown in the source. When you enter, you will find a smelting area. This is the place where Iron Ore is turned into Iron Ingots.

Where the Smelting Area Is
The smelting section is the most important part of this method. When you walk in, look for the setup used to process ore. To get it working, place a wheelbarrow there and keep the shovels nearby. Once this is done, a Magmar will spawn.
That is the trigger you need. Without Magmar, the setup does not start the full process. After it appears, you are ready for the next step.

How to Turn Iron Ore Into Iron Ingots
Now put Iron Ore into the smelting setup. The ore can be broken out from the nearby deposit. After that, bring Magmar close to the building. Once it moves near the furnace, it will start working on it. This turns the Iron Ore into Iron Ingots.
The method is very simple once the area is ready. First, reach the smelting section. Next, spawn Magmar. Then place the ore inside and let the furnace do the rest.
Useful Tips for Faster Iron Ingot Farming
Other Fire-type Pokémon may also work here, but Magmar is the easy option shown in the source. You also do not have to keep the setup in the exact same spot. It can be moved a little closer outside if that makes the process easier.

One thing to remember is that Iron Ingots are not made instantly. They take real time. If you need many of them, you can leave and come back later. You can also change the time and date on your Switch if you want the results sooner.
