Pokémon Pokopia Guide | How to Get Squishy Clay and Make Bricks
A quick guide to the best Squishy Clay spot and how to turn it into Bricks in Pokémon Pokopia.

If you need Squishy Clay in Pokémon Pokopia, one of the easiest places to get it is in the early part of the Withered Wasteland. This area has a lot of it, especially near where you first encounter Onix. It is one of the most reliable spots, and there is usually more than enough there for early crafting needs.
You can also find Squishy Clay in other places, including the Three Islands, but the early wasteland area is still the easiest place to check first. That makes it the best farming route when you want a quick supply without having to search the whole map.
What Squishy Clay Looks Like
To find Squishy Clay faster, look for a strange ground texture with small dots. That dotted surface is the main sign you are in the right place. Once you notice it, it becomes much easier to spot more clay nearby.
Inside the cave system near Onix, there is a large amount of it spread around the area. When you look around carefully, you will see clay pieces near rocks and scattered across the ground. Not every patch in the area is Squishy Clay, but there is still plenty to collect.

Best Farming Spot Near Onix
The best part of this route is how much clay is packed into one place. Near the area where Onix appears, you are surrounded by it. There is enough here to gather a good amount in one trip, which makes it much easier to craft the materials you need later.
This is why the Withered Wasteland is such a strong early farming spot. Instead of wandering between regions, you can stay in one area and collect a large amount of clay in a short time.

How to Make Bricks
After collecting Squishy Clay, the next step is turning it into Bricks. To do that, take the clay to the smelter you unlock in Rocky Ridges. Once that unlock is available, you can process the clay there and start making Bricks for your building and crafting needs.
If you have already reached Rocky Ridges, this part is simple. Gather the clay first, head to the smelter, and use it to turn your materials into Bricks.

Where This Method Helps Most
This method is useful when you need a steady supply of Bricks without wasting time. The clay near Onix is easy to reach, easy to identify, and available in large amounts. Once the smelter in Rocky Ridges is unlocked, you can turn that early resource into one of the more useful crafting materials in the game.
