Rock Band Unplugged for PSP

It was only last February that Sony announced there was going to be a special Rock Band game just for the PSP, but since then, they 've refused to give us any more details. Not until yesterday...

 

 

The game is being developed by Harmonix and Backbone Entertainment and will be distributed by MTV Games and Electronic Arts. It's been rumoured that the game will feature more than 40 songs, all of them master recordings.

 

 

Pearl Jam, Jackson 5, Billy Idol, Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Bon Jovi and Audioslave are only some of the bands that their songs you 'll come across in Rock Band Unplugged. World Tour, Band Survival and Warm Up are some of the modes of the games, while character creator will be available again. But there are going to be 9 exclusive tracks that they are previously not released in the rest of the Rock Band games. There are :

Black Tide - Show Me the Way
Blink 182 - What's My Age Again
Freezepop - Less Talk More Rock

EA also announced that Rock Band Unplugged will be sold in a bundle version of PSP too in North America. It will cost $200 and will include Rock Band Unplugged, a voucher to download School of Rock movie from the PlayStation Store, a 4GB Memory Stick Pro Duo, and a Piano Black PSP

 

The game is scheduled to be released in North America and Europe on June 9, 2009, costing £24.99 in the UK.
