The randomness of an illness

Rant by ILIAS on  Dec 19, 2009

Couldn't think of a better title... honestly... Being stuck at home with flu (dunno if it's swine or not, I guess we'll never gonna know :P ) and having this so much free time but not being able to go outside, I thought what the hell, let's write a blog :P So here I am, wearing my white Mascherano jersey and posting.

Starting with Liverpool, I don't know what's going so wrong (seriously, I know, but I don't wanna say it out loud. We got beaten 2-0 today by the last team on the table and Mascherano is facing a very serious injury. This is exactly the reason and the times that "You'll never walk alone" became our song, but unfortunately I don't see much of support by the majority of our supporters. Time will tell... Needless to say the shine into my eyes that ManUtd's defeat brought to me, especially seeing former Scouser Danny Murply scoring the opening goal with a nice shot.

Since I'm stuck at home, I spend most of my time into playing games, talking to the phone and listening to a lot of music.

Gaming: Well, I started playing Band Hero, having trasferred some songs from previous Guitar Hero games into that. As a consumer, I don't know why this game has been released just a couple of months after Guitar Hero 5, still I got it because I believe there are some good songs in there and I have to admit, I'm a rhythm games addict :P Also, I continue playing PES2010. Here, I MUST mention the fact that I beat George at Craig's place, in a dramatic Everton vs Panathinaikos match, thanks to a thunder by Kostas Katsouranis from the penalty box. Moreover Craig told me where to find chants for PES2010 and trust me the game gets hyped +50% just from that. I even installed some "inappropriate ones" :P

Talking to phone: I can't believe the amount of invites I'm having for Christmas and New Year's Eve. Basically, I need to know if I will be able to be outside until then AND there's a strong possiblity to be working if I'm ok in terms of health. The funniest of all phonecalls came from the kid I'm his Godfather. When little Dimitris (he's only 5 years old) listened to my voice being so so bad he told me "Why your voice is so bad Godfather? Is it why you cheered so loud for Liverpool? That's it, the boy just got an extra bonus Christmas bonus :P

As for music and since I'm posting this blog around 01:30am I'll recommend you the unplugged  version of the following song.
