If your gaming backlog is already huge, it's going to get way bigger after October 2019. With so many incredible games releasing we've decided to list the top 5 coming out next month. Here are the top 5 games releasing this October 2019.
5. The Outer Worlds
From minds behind Fallout: New Vegas The Outer Worlds is giving players the chance to explore the vast world looking for answers behind the cooperations that now colonize and terraforming alien planets. In the footage shown, players can recruit allies, following unique stories linked to each character, and develop the story based on their decisions. Allowing for extensive branching paths as you travel through these alien lands.
The combat system also have extensive options. Allowing the player to use lethal, social, or stealth skills to complete objectives. With Fallout: New Vegas being one of the more popular additions to the new Fallout games fans are hoping The Outer Worlds will serve as a spiritual successor to the beloved title.
4. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is regarded as one of the best games this generation, and for good reasons. The dense narrative provides multiple branching paths and 3 different endings. Throughout the journey, you'll encounter a large array of dynamic missions and side objectives, each with their own layers. While this version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be downgraded to run on the Nintendo Switch it's still an incredible achievement to bring this title to the system. And those who dive into this dark fantasy RPG adventure will easily find hundreds of hours of quality content. Exploring and replaying the adventure to see how Geralt of Rivia's final tale ends.
3. MediEvil PS4
A beloved classic for PlayStation owners MediEvil had players in control of Sir Daniel Fortesque as he attempted to stop Zarok's invasion while also redeeming himself. Who, when alive, was killed by the first arrow fired in the original battle with Zarok. Zarok has returned and resurrected the dead to steal the souls of the living and Dan, who was also revived, uses this chance to defeat Zarok, save his kingdom, and earn his place as a true hero.
The game was praised by fans for its humor and Halloween themes. The remake is set to launch by Halloween and like Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy and Spyro Reignited Trilogy will get updated visuals but remain loyal to the core game. As a fan of the original, this is a gem that everyone should play.
2. Indivisible
Announced back in 2015 Indivisible won over the hearts of many gamers with its bright colorful art style. Over the years, more fans gravitated to the project as new characters and the musical score were shown. The project would slowly reveal new elements such as a dynamic combat system, Metroidvania exploration elements, and a challenging combat system that tested the player's reaction and strategy skills.
After years of waiting, we'll finally get to play Ajna's adventure. Embarking on an adventure full of mystery and unique heroes to fight against and alongside with.
1. Luigi's Mansion 3
Luigi's Mansion has seen a strong following since its debut on the GameCube and its long-awaited sequel on the 3DS called Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon. Luigi's Mansion 3 is building on the edifice of everything fans love about this franchise. Adding more diverse locations, enemies, and new moves to Luigi's arsenal. The demo I played at E3 2019 highlighted Luigi's various new talents such as his new slam ability and Gooigi. Ally and necessary second body for certain puzzles Gooigi was a charming ally and fits with the haunted theme.
And to add to the project is the inclusion of multiplayer. The Scarescraper was an excellent addition to the 3DS game and it's looking to be another insanely fun mode for Luigi's Mansion 3. Personally, as a huge fan of this series, I cannot wait to take control of Luigi, grab the Poltergust G-00, and get to hunt some ghosts.
