Tormented Souls 2 Guide | All School Area Puzzles

The School area in Tormented Souls 2 features a lot of puzzles that you’ll need to solve in order to progress through the game. 

Each puzzle will connect different classrooms and corridors with one another, and we often hand you important items in the current and alternate reality.

Xylophone — Beethoven Statue

Found in East corridor B, the statue depicts Beethoven holding an ear horn.

Using a metal spoon on the xylophone, play the notes FACEDEAD to get the seven a fuse.

You’ll be able to find the xylophone in the kindergarten classroom and the middle spoon in the schoolyard.

The hint of this puzzle will be provided in the Art & Music Room sheet music poster.

Helena's Cabinet

In Room 102, there’s a cabinet that requires you to rotate a few dolls in the following order: Book, Ruler, Compass, and Sharpener.

Doing so, you get the second fuse.

You could find a clue for this Cabinet from Helena’s note in Classroom 101.

Fuse Board

After getting your hands on both of the fuses, one from the Beethoven/Xylophone Puzzle and the other from the Helena Cabinet Cryptex, you’ll be able to use both of the fuses in the Generator Room to power the door and elevator.

You’ll have to change them around to access each of the areas.

Computer Lab Key

You can find the Computer Lab Key inside the Textiles Classroom, which can be found deeper in the basement section of the school.

Teacher's Request — Snake Figurine

Inside Classroom 103, the teacher asks for an Apple. 

You are required to collect apple seeds from the desk inside of Classroom 204, and by using the Playground VHS Tape, inside of the Art & Music Room VHS player, to go back in time.

Proceed by following the seeds in the pot, and transfer the pot under the shower to water it, followed by returning to the present to pick the grown apple.

Give the apple to the teacher, and this will reward you with the Snake Figurine.

Mirror To The Other Side

Inside the girls' bathroom, the mirror has a mathematical solution for the reflection of how the candles need to be ignited.

Use the following order:

Girls' Bathroom Fly Figurine

For this puzzle, you are required to combine the insecticide spare and then the insecticides to create a full sprayer.

You’ll be able to find the sprayer in the Director’s Office (Other Side) and the insecticide in Storage Room 201 in a cupboard.

Head to the women's bathroom (Other Side) and use the full canister around the toilet to get the Figurine in the real world.

Birdcage & Other Side Safe

For this puzzle, you’ll want to locate the puzzle in Classroom 202 and remember the symbols on the left-hand side drawing on the wall behind.

Then head to the Other Side version of the classroom and turn the door in the correct order to unlock the cage, the dials will be according to the opposite of the symbols that you initially saw in the real world.

The correct dials are:

Grenade, Fire, Male Sign, Sun, Happy Mask

Solving this will give you the Hawk Figurine.

Animal Figurine Puzzle

Who disposal you required to get for animal figurines and place them into the four slots on the wooden stand; here’s where you’ll be able to find the figurines:

• Fly: Girl's Bathroom
• Toad: Classroom 203 (Other Side)
• Snake: Classroom 103
• Hawk: Classroom 202

Inside the Science Lab, please for figurines in the wooden slot in a specific order:

Hawk, Snake, Toad, Fly, it’s a reference to the clue "the strong eat the weak," which is a reference to the food chain.

Completing this puzzle will grant you the Master Key.

Master Lock 1

After obtaining the Master Key from the animal figurine puzzle in classroom 201, you want to use the hint on the chalkboard and turn the dolls on the key to match.

Directors' Office: Circles, Crown of thorns, Wolf = Female, Cross, Moon.

Master Lock 2

The hint for this master key symbol is present on the chalkboard next to the lock cupboard.

Computer Lab: Sun, Heart, Man.

After completing it, you’ll get your hands on the canon upgrade: recoil spring.

Cursed Door — Janitor's Room TV

To remove the curse on the school's lobby, you are tasked to defeat the pig cook boss, which takes place inside a hidden room that you can access through the Janitor's Room.

You need to give his mask to the reaching hand that comes out of the TV.

Refectory Cracked Wall (Optional) — Good Ending

When you returned to the Convent, you were given instructions to meet Lucia in the underground bunker.

Return to the Refectory and use the sledgehammer on the broken wall. (You’ll find a sledgehammer in Joseph’s cave hideout.)

Saving Miguel (Optional) — Good Ending

You’ll need to collect the tape that is found towards the end of the game, when you’ll be returning to the Covent. By using the sledgehammer on the broken wall in the Refectory, you’ll be able to get the tape from the dormitories.

After getting the tape head to the Covent, back to the other side of the director’s office, and using the tape on the robot's neck to save Miguel in the real world.

This will unlock the game's good ending.
