Update: "Im getting a New Computer" Edition

Well you guys probably haven't seen me around the forums lately (although I promise I drop in and lurk almost daily).  There are two main reasons I haven't been posting as much as usual.  Reason number one: football practices have crept up on me.  I have been a little lazy this offseason so I have been trying to make up for lost time, not to mention the optional mini camps that our team has been holding the past two weeks. The second reason is that for the past week I have been looking for a new computer, preferably a gaming computer.  My budget is $500 dollars so I wasn't expecting to find anything, but I was really surprised when I saw this computer on Newegg.com.  Needless to say, when I saw the specs on this computer my jaw dropped, and I had to check the price four more times to confirm what I was seeing is for real.  I have read a few reviews (some on Newegg, some on other websites) and they all say that its a great gaming computer that delivers the most bang for your buck.  This PC should arrive tommorow or after the weekends.  As soon as I get some games running I will take some pictures of it and review the preformance.  If you have been looking for a gaming PC, this is about as cheap as it gets.  I am really happy I waited to buy a computer because five days ago I was at Best Buy ready to purchase a media desktop for $600 dollars.  From now on, when I buy a computer I will be buying it off the internet :).

On a side not, I am now addicted to Nine Inch Nails.  Its a very intersting band, and I remember I heard some songs from them that I enjoyed.  I decided to go to Wikipedia and research them, and I was amazed at what I read.  I have never met a man who can single handedly run a band for 15 years, produce such wonderful albums, and fight the greedy corporations.  I would highly recommend checking out their music, and reading about them on Wikipedia.  Here is one of my favorite songs by NIN:

 

UPDATE: I have recieved the PC, and have downloaded a few games.  This computer runs games better than any computer I have ever had.  I can max out almost any game on it without lag.  I am getting a new monitor in the mail Saturday, so I will take some pictures when it arrives.
