When you enter the Darkness objective, the space is difficult to navigate, and the narrator’s comments do not offer much direction. This guide walks you through each statue location so you can clear the objective without wandering around. Increasing the brightness can help, but knowing the exact points to check removes the guesswork.

Finding the First Statue

As soon as you gain control inside the room, turn left. On the table positioned next to the door, you will find the first Idol. This is the object you need to collect, and its placement makes it easy to confirm that you are starting in the right direction.

Locating the Second Statue

Next, turn your view to the right side of the door you entered through. The second Idol sits on the floor. This one can be overlooked if you scan too quickly, so make sure you look directly at the ground beside the doorway.

Searching Under the Opposite Desk

Rotate to the right again until you face the area across from the magic door. You will see another desk here. The third Idol is underneath it. You may need to crouch or adjust your angle to spot it clearly.

Finding the Last Statue Near the Boxes

Starting from the same desk where you found the previous statue, turn right once more. Look toward the stack of boxes in the corner. The final Idol rests on top of some boxes near a cardboard box. This one blends in easily, which is why many players miss it even on higher brightness settings.
