Windsor Spitfires win Memorial Cup [updated with pics]

The hometown Windsor Spitfires made history Sunday, becoming the first team in the Memorial Cup's 91-year history to come back from an 0-2 start and win the tournament.

 

The OHL champions defeated the WHL champion Kelowna Rockets 4-1 to capture the team's first ever Memorial Cup.

 

Windsor's first three goals of the game came on their first three shots, embarrassing Kelowna goalieMark Guggenberger and sending him to the bench for the rest of the game.

 

There's a large celebration planned here in Windsor tomorrow evening. I'll make sure to take pictures.
