Rare has revealed the latest crossover ship that's currently available for players to collect in Sea of Thieves, the Blighted Ship Set. This set has been inspired by State of Decay 2, another first-party Xbox One game, which sees players fight for survival in a world infested with the living dead.
It's currently possible to pick up the Blighted Ship set by earning each part. However, as of June 17 the entire set will move over to the Pirate Imporium, so you need to move quickly if you want to earn this particular ship.
In order to earn each part for free, before they move over to the Pirate Imporium, you just need to play Sea of Thieves as you normally would. Complete missions and bounties and you'll have a head start on everyone else who doesn't play during this time.
There's an entire ship to collect for this event, including Sails, Flag, Figurehead, Cannons, Capstan, Hull and Wheel. There are also collector's variants for the Figurehead and Sails, which will be a real bonus for ayone who manages to get them for free this early.
