Gearbox and Nerdvana have announced the creation of an official rulebook for the pen and paper RPG Bunkers and Badasses. First featured in the Borderlands 2 DLC “Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon’s Keep”, Bunkers and Badasses is a Dungeons and Dragons spoof featuring elements of Pandora and beyond. The source book not only includes the game’s official rules, but also three example campaigns. The first, “Marcus’ Quest for the Wizard’s Wand” is a tutorial to get new players onboard and familiar with the gameplay system. “Butt Stallion’s Hunny Heist” is a brand new original adventure attributed to Tiny Tina. Finally, players can experience the complete “Assault on Dragon’s Keep” in tabletop form.
In addition to the sourcebook, a deluxe addition is also available. This includes a themed game master screen, 100 gun equipment cards, gridded playmate, 50 cardboard enemies, 10 minis of the Borderlands Vault Hunters, and a set of dice with a bonus weighted cheat die.
While the pre-order is open now, the actual release and ship dates have not been stated.
