Borderlands 3 Season 2 Confirmed, Director's Cut Also Confirmed

Borderlands 3 won't be done after the conclusion of the season pass. Instead, Gearbox Software has confirmed Season 2 of Borderlands 3.

The second season will continue until Spring 2021. With a Director's Cut of the game confirmed. It'll be shown off on October 29th at 9 AM PT and October 30th 9 AM PT a first look at the new game mode Arms Race.

Get ready to make all kinds of mayhem with Borderlands 3's new Season Pass 2, which will feature two more add-ons unlike anything we've done before. This new season will include the Designer's Cut and Director's Cut DLCs, which each offer new modes and ways to play. A copy of Borderlands 3 is required to play the content in Season Pass 2, which will be available for purchase on November 10 starting with the Designer's Cut. The second half of Season Pass 2, Director's Cut, is planned to release in Spring 2021; we'll have more details to share closer to launch.

Borderlands 3 is now available for PS4, PC, Xbox One, and Stadia. I'll launch for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S as well with free upgrades available for existing users.
