Xbox One, Now Cheaper Than Ever

The Xbox One is now more affordable than ever, with a price tag of $250 months before the Xbox One S launches.

This is only one of a series of price cuts, with the first being from $349 to $299 and another in mid-June saw another $20 cut from the price.

Giving Sony's massive lead since the launch the PS4 it doesn't seem likely that this new price cut will worry Sony. However giving that the Xbox One S launches next one Microsoft is probably trying to sell as many previous models as possible.
