The Sony PlayStation VR is currently the hottest item available, with thousands of fans showcasing their new VR headsets on social media. With a wide selection of games available Sony has confirmed that every headset is being sold at a profit.
Speaking to Polygon Sony Interactive Entertainment World Studios chairman Shawn Layden said that “We’re making money on the VR console”.
This is surprising seeing that most hardware sales are sold at a loss and made up in software purchases.
