Dropzone Now Available On Steam Early Access

If the name Sparkypants Studios doesn't tell you anything, you may want to know that the people behind it have worked for names such as Microprose, Firaxis and Big Huge Games.With enough experience on their hands, they've now released Dropzone on Steam Early Access. Dropzone lets you command a squad of three Rigs and engage in both PvE and PvP. 1v1, 2v2 and custom game modes are available. Overall, the gameplay seems to resemble a concentrated version of a RTS or a slightly more expanded MOBA.

Dropzone is intended to be a Free-to-Play title upon release. Getting into Early Access will, however, require payment. 19,99€ will get you the SQUAD Bundle, which comes with a selection of Pilots, Rigs and Gear, among other things, from what's already available. 35,99€ grants the COMMANDER Bundle which adds some more Gear, exclusive items and all present and future Pilots.
