Doom: The Dark Ages Guide | How To Dismount Chapter 5 Dragon

This mission occurs during Chapter 5 of Doom: The Dark Ages. If you're first entering the city, you'll be exactly at the entry location on the map.

First Landing Zone

The first thing you will do when you enter the area in Doom: The Dark Ages is turn left. There's an enemy over in that direction. Approach this enemy and switch on assault mode. Second, you'll have to dodge his attack. 

In doing that, you'll get a power-up, supplying you with the energy that will enable you to kill him. Having powered up, go ahead and kill him with a finisher. Whichever your finisher button might be.

When you have killed the enemy, it will show his landing point. Go back a little and press the button you have pushed to make it move to land. This way, you can exit the dragon and land in this position. This will be one of the two layover secret landing positions needed for the challenge.

Here you'll have to fight a group of enemies just to escape. Once all the enemies are killed, the dragon will return, and you'll be able to get back in the air.

Second Landing Zone

Now that you're flying again, look at your map in Doom: The Dark Ages. The initial landing pad was just beside the entrance, on a tower over there. Now, go on to the target. You're going to be searching for a giant airship. Fly through the blue ring you see when you get close to it. While still in flight, begin descending.

Eventually, you'll see the location of the next landing. At first, it won't be obvious, but search for enemies defending the area. When you get near, one of them will fire at you. Avoid the attack by dodging. 

You will be required to destroy both of the enemies defending this region. You will encounter two enemies here. Be sure to kill them both. Once they are killed, the landing site will become visible. When it does, press the respective button to descend.

Once you have reached this second secret landing spot, the challenge is done. Check your goals to make sure, and you will notice that they have been checked off as complete.
