Sony’s Shawn Layden confirms no PlayStation Experience in 2018
News by Grayshadow on Sep 29, 2018
Those hoping for more information on PlayStation exclusives such as The Last of Us 2, Death Stranding, Days Gone, or Ghost of Tsushima during PlayStation Experience this year will be vexed to hear that PSX 2018 won't be happening.
Sony’s Chairman of SIE Worldwide Studios Shawn Layden confirmed that PlayStation Experience will indeed not be happing in 2018 during a podcast for PlayStation Blog. Layden understands that fans will be annoyed but since Sony doesn't have an expansive lineup of confirmed titles set to launch in 2019 that it was logical to skip the event.
This does make sense seeing that titles such as The Last of Us: Part 2, Death Stranding, Days Gone, or Ghost of Tsushima are expected to launch between 2019 and 2020 no official launch date has been provided for any of these games.
