Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Sells 3 Million Units

Everyone within the gaming community knows that Super Smash Bros. Ultimate was going to be a success but it went everyone's expectations. Becoming one of the fastest selling games this generation.

According to the NPD Group from March 2017 to November 2018, the Nintendo Switch has sold over 8.7 million units, outpacing expected sales and surpassing other consoles this generation but also sold 3 million units, making it the fastest selling game in the series.

This shouldn't come as a surprise considering how popular the Nintendo Switch has been since its launch with a constant release of exclusive triple-a games, indie titles, and the overall selection of ports.
