Apex Legends has been a massive success for EA and Respawn Entertainment. With little in terms of updates, maintaining that momentum has been hard considering their biggest competitor, Fortnite, has a new season on the horizon. Now, EA is planning to bring Respawn Entertainment's title to the mobile platform.
During the recent earning call for the 4th quarter, EA shared Apex Legends success. EA detailed that its player base reached 50 million players in 2 months. EA also explained that "advanced negotiations" were being made to bring the title to mobile and regions such as China and Korea.
This massive growth earned through Apex Legends has encouraged EA to support Respawn Entertainment's project. Adding new seasons and content for players to purchase. Such as a more robust "Battle Pass".
Apex Legends is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
