The Surge 2 Launching this Fall on September 24th

Instead of waiting next week for E3 2019, Deck13 and Focus Home Interactive revealed the release date for The Surge 2. Revealing that the next installment will launch this September 24th for PS4, PC, and Xbox One.

Unlike the first, The Surge players will venture outside to Jericho City. A closed-off city that once housed the rich and powerful. Players must survive the landscape, which is now crawling with hostile machines and scavengers while hunting down a powerful enemy wandering the environment.

It seems surprising that the launch of the game would be announced before E3 2019. Perhaps it’s to avoid being overshadowed by other titles or lost in the crowd.

The Surge 2 will launch on September 24th for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
