Gears 5 Escape Trailer Features Tips of How to Survive the Swarm Inside the Hives

Gears 5's new mode is called Escape and has 3 players attempting to take down a Swarm nest. With a new trailer showing off the game's mode and providing some tips.

Escape is a 3 player co-op mode where teamwork and adaptability is your best chance to take down the Swarm and get out alive!

Escape has players starting off with the bare minimum, just a pistol to be exact. You're expected to gather supplies inside the nest while avoiding detection, but this is optional if you choose to just kill everything.

When the Vemon bomb is planted, you must escape. As the bomb will kill anything exposed to the toxic gas. Safe rooms will provide breathing room and ultimate abilities can give you an edge over the enemies. 

To encourage players to take on the harder modes more experience and loot will be provided for completing Escape on harder difficulties.

Gears 5 launches for Xbox One, PC, and through Xbox Game Pass this September 10th. With a special edition Xbox One launching the same day.
