Resident Evil 3 Remake Confirms No Multiple Endings or Mercenaries Mode
Resident Evil 3 Remake won't have multiple endings

Resident Evil 3 Remake is one of the biggest games launching this year and in the latest issue of PlayStation Magazine UK new details were shared. Some unpleasant to some, like that the game won't include Mercenaries or multiple endings.
Mercenaries was a popular horde mode-like option where players took on mass amounts of enemies. The mode was introduced in the original Resident Evil 3 as an optional timed mission but altered in Resident Evil 4 as the horde mode and introduced that way for future games in the series. The mode even had a stand-alone release on the 3DS. Instead, Resident Evil Resistance, the new multiplayer mode where 4 players take on the mastermind, will be bundled with the game.
As for the multiple endings, this was part of the original game. Players could get various endings depending on their choices. However, producer Peter Fabiano confirmed this is not the case in the remake.
While it's sad to hear that the mode won't be included perhaps the multiplayer offerings will be more than enough.
Resident Evil 3 2020 will be out on April 3 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
