Nintendo Mobile Games Have Reached $1 Billion in Lifetime Player Spreading

When Nintendo entered the mobile market with Super Mario Run it was met with immediate success. After of which Nintendo starting making mobile titles with their most popular IPs such as Dr. Mario, Mario Kart, Fire Emblem, and Animal Crossing. Now, according to SensorTower Nintendo has crossed the $1 billion mark.


SensorTower reports that Nintendo's mobile games have reached $1b in lifetime player spending

Total downloads of Nintendo games WW: 452m

Biggest contributors are Fire Emblem Heroes (61%), Animal Crossing Pocket Camp (12%) and Dragalia Lost (11%)

According to the chart the mobile title Fire Emblem Heroes was mostly responsible for $656 million in player spending followed by Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp and Dragalia Lost.

It's likely Nintendo will continue to find success in the mobile market. As the company has some of the most notorious and popular IPs in entertainment. All of which can be turned in a mobile title.
