Age of Wonders III Is Currently Free On Steam

Fantasy 4X strategy game Age of Wonders III is currently free for a limited on Steam, publisher Paradox Interactive and developer Triumph Studios announced today. The offer ends Monday, July 15, giving interested players a few days to pick it up and keep it forever.

Not only can players get their hands on the base game, which comes with a hefty serving of gameplay and evil penguins, the expansions are also on sale until July 15th. Furthermore, anyone picking Age of Wonders III up during this time will benefit from a 10% discount on Age of Wonders: Planetfall’s Premium Edition.

Where Age of Wonders III is very much a revival of classic 4X strategy in a fantasy setting, the upcoming Age of Wonders: Planetfall, set to launch on August 6th, takes the series to space for the first time.
