Air Conflicts: Secret Wars fits in the arcade genre and is also a flight simulator where the player is in the middle of a war. In campaign mode the player will stop fighting in the air in over 48 missions where the goal is always to win. Before starting a mission the player has the possibility to choose different planes, each one has its strengths and weaknesses and this makes each one has a better performance in certain types of missions.

As you progress trough the missions, you will also improve your skills that will help control the plane more easily, you'll also have the opportunity to choose the control scheme (Arcade or Simulation). In Arcade mode the experience to fly the plane makes it easier to concentrate on the game's action combat, but in the second mode, the plane will fly more like reality and also giving the player more options and while making it more difficult to piloting.
"We are extremely proud of Air Conflicts: Secret Wars, as it represents a significant milestone in Kalypso Media USA's relative short history," said Mario Kroll, Vice President Kalypso Media USA, Inc. "Thanks to the great support from our co-publishing partner, bitComposer, and the folks at Sony, we are delighted to ship our first title on PlayStation 3, and also our first title that incorporates support for 3D and Move technology."
