All MB Coins in the Japanese Version of Metal Gear Solid V Have An Expiration Date

Japanese gamers have 6 months to use their MB Coins in Metal Gear Solid V before they expire

Konami has implemented a new addition to their microtransactions in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. The paid currency called MB coins in the PC version of MSG V now have expiration dates in Japan.

MB coins are the currency used in MGS V to purchase FOBs, which can earned or purchased with real-world money. Regardless if you purchased or earn them MB coins will expire after 6 months. This will only effect coins earned today and in the future.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is currently available for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4 and PC.
