If you can’t wait for Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood (due November 16) to come out already, you won’t have to agonize for long. Ubisoft has partnered with Gamestop, announcing that they will be handing out beta keys to those who pre-order the game on the Playstation 3. The AC: Brotherhood multiplayer beta will go live on September 13 exclusively on Sony's console. It is unknown if the beta will eventually find its way to Xbox 360 owners.

But those beta codes won’t last forever. Ubisoft also clarified that there are only a “limited number of beta slots” left. So you better scurry on over to your nearest retailer and get your beta key now. Additionally, if you’ve pre-ordered the game beforehand you can just bring your receipt to Gamestop starting August 9 and acquire your beta code that way.

AC: Brotherhood’s multiplayer hasn’t been shown outside of E3 this year. Now, gamers will get a first glimpse of what multiplayer in Assassin’s Creed would be like. So go get your codes now while they’re still hot!
