Assassin's Creed Livestream Leading Up to Reveal of the Next Game Heavily Hints at Vikings Setting

For some time rumors have been spreading that the next Assassin's Creed will be centered around Vikings. With posters around The Division 2 and other rumors being spread across the internet adding to the rumor mill. Now, Ubisoft is doing a livestream leading up to the eventual reveal of the upcoming game and revealing new images that hint that those rumors are all true.

Ubisoft has provided several images showing off Viking Ships, warriors, and more. With one image showing what could be the protagonist or the main antagonist. At this point, it'll be shocking if it isn't about Vikings.

Since Assassin's Creed Origins Ubisoft has been going further and further back in history. With Assassin's Creed Origins establishing the origins of the Creed and Assassin's Creed Odyssey providing context about the Templar's origins. So it'll be interesting to see where this title goes with the narrative. Personally, I'm still waiting on a wild west Assassin's Creed title or a game set during WW1 or WW2.
