Assassin's Creed Syndicate Revealed

Assassin’s Creed Syndicate has just been announced and it’s set in London. Taking place in 1868 during the industrial revolution players take control of Jacob Frye, a poor lower class worker turned Assassin. Joining Jacob will be his twin sister Eevee as the duo attempt to build an army of criminals to overthrow the Templars. It’s unclear if Eevee will be playable but it’s clear that she’ll be a significant to the overall story.

Technology has advanced and people are adapting to the new changes, especially the Assassins and Templars. Assassins will team up with the lower class and criminals to challenge the upper class. Jacob will have to build an army by taking control of criminal organizations to aid in his fight against the Templars.

Shown in the demo were weapons and vehicles such as the Brass Knuckles, Revolver, and the newest tool the Assassin Gauntlet. With this gauntlet players can zip across rooftops and climb up buildings with lightening speed. Returning are weapons such as the chemical dart, similar to Ezio’s bombs, and throwing knives.

Other new additions include a traffic system, carriages to drive and trains to ride. The demo showcased a new combat system to make fights more manageable, especially during gang wars. These large fights will consist of your allies facing off against the Templar’s criminal organizations. Jacob will have to fight multiple criminal organizations to build his army throughout the 7 boroughs the player will travel through.

Assassin’s Creed Syndicate will release on Xbox One and PS4 on October 23 and on PC this fall.

Update:

Eevee will be a playable character and Syndicate will feature no multiplayer.
