After being delayed back in September, as developer Tindalos Interactive looked not only to add more polish but also make its campaigns playable in co-op, Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2 now has a release date. The Warhammer 40,000 space RTS will release on January 24th on PC. As previously announced, those who pre-order will have access to two pre-order betas which have now been detailed.
The first pre-order beta for Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2 begins in early December, focusing on multipalyer and balance. "All 12 factions, the full multiplayer progression system, custom games, plus 2v2, 1v1, and versus AI will be available to everyone who pre-orders before or during this week-long event.", the post on publisher Focus Home Interactive's forum reads. The second beta will begin in January, running until the game's launch. It will contain everything in the first beta, including later patches, while adding the campaing prologue and first sectors from two of its campaigns. "It will give a preview of the ship-building, empire-conquering, narrative-driven offerings of Armada 2 and will be just a taste of the full game.".
Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2 is currently available for pre-order and discounted by 10%. Owners of the original benefit from a 25% discount which brings the price down to 29,99€ from its original 39,99€.
