Big Bass Arcade Will Get Enhanced Retail Release

Big Bass Arcade is a fishing game made by Big John Games that got released on Wiiware some time ago. The developer is a long-lasting veteran in fishing games of all things, boasting 17 years of experience. Now, they have announced that Big Bass Arcade will release to retail this March.

The Wii exclusive will get tagged for $19.99, but will get enhanced in many ways in order to justify the release. The game adds 32 multi-day tournaments, 10 individual ponds and 40 new challenges as well as bonus challenges for each lake. It will also feature 7 species of fish, which doesn’t sound like a lot, but perhaps it is for the target audience.
Graphics and sound have been enhanced, as well as fish intelligence. The artificial intelligence is said to create realistic fish behavior and animations like never before. Unlike other simulators, Big Bass Arcade will do justice to its name by focusing on the action at hand. There will be no searching for sweet spots or getting the right combination and waiting it out. Players will get greeted with swift gameplay of timed events, high scores and intense fish-fights.
