Crysis Remastered Will Not Include Warhead

Recently, Crytek confirmed that Crysis Remastered will be launching this summer for PS4, PC, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. However, many wondered if the expansion Crysis Warhead would also come to consoles and the answer is no.

Inverse reached out to Crytek and the company responded that the remaster will only include the original trilogy, no DLC or expansions.

Inverse reached out to Crytek for clarification, and a representative confirmed that Crysis Remastered includes the campaign from the first game and little else, so fans shouldn't expect Crysis Remastered to include Crysis Warhead, Crysis 2, or Crysis 3. "Crysis Remastered is just the original game," a Crytek representative wrote in an email. "It won’t include Warhead or any of the other games from the series."

This will disappoint some as Crysis Warhead was never released on consoles.

Crysis Remastered launches this summer for PC, Xbox One, PS4, and Switch.
