Dark Souls III Mixing Bloodborne's High Speed Action

The new trailer for Dark Souls III highlights new additions taken straight from Bloodborne.

Developer From Software demoed the new class system. Those addicted to the fast-pace gameplay of Bloodborne will be glad to hear that the Thief class was designed specially for you. Equipped with a side-step ability and body and arrow this class takes advantage of its speed to keep enemies at bay and within striking range. Players can also use a rapid firing bow ability, a first for the series.

Other classes include the Wandering Knight, Northern Warrior, Herald of White and Academy Assassin. Each will have their own speed, special moves and starting weapon.

New footage highlights plenty of combat, mostly shield and blade, but showcase the ability to use lethal attacks more efficiently. Players can now side-step around enemies to perform the lethal attack, when properly executed players can expose opportunities for these powerful blows.

Dark Souls III is set to release on Xbox One, PS4 and PC on March 24.
