Darkspawn Chronicles DLC gives Dragon Age a twist

The latest downloadable content for Dragon Age: Origins will give players a bit of a twist: the ability to play as the Darkspawn.

 

In The Darkspawn Chronicles, the story is amended to assume the player's character did not survive The Joining and did not become a Grey Warden. The story is told from the perspective of a Darkspawn hurlock vanguard, as your forces take on Alistair's army.

 

Completion will reward players with a Darkspawn item to use in the main game and in Awakening.

 

The Darkspawn Chronicles will be available for download May 18 on PC and Xbox 360, with a price of $5 or 400 Microsoft points.
